1. About Bottomline. Bottomline is a business intelligence service that connects to your accounting, CRM, advertising, and payment platforms via read-only API access to generate monthly reports about your business performance. The service is operated by Bottomline.
2. Acceptance of terms. By accessing or using Bottomline, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We recommend you print or save a copy of these terms for your records.
3. Account registration. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use.
4. Data access and security. Bottomline accesses your connected tools through official, read-only APIs using OAuth authentication. We do not modify, delete, or write any data to your connected systems. We do not store raw data from your connected tools. We store only the analysis results generated from your data. You can disconnect any tool at any time from your account settings.
5. Service availability. We aim to keep Bottomline available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to suspend the service temporarily for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We will try to give reasonable notice of planned downtime.
6. Billing and payment. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are listed on our website and may change with 30 days notice. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for your subscription fees.
7. Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not provide refunds for partial months.
8. Acceptable use.You agree not to use Bottomline to: violate any applicable laws or regulations; infringe on intellectual property rights; distribute malware or harmful code; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; or use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure.
9. Intellectual property. All content, features, functionality, branding, and code of Bottomline are owned by Bottomline and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your business data remains yours at all times. We claim no ownership of the data you provide or the data accessed through your connected tools.
10. Limitation of liability.Bottomline is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that the analysis results will be perfectly accurate. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Bottomline after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend you review these terms periodically.
